A Celebration of the 155th Anniversary of the Shalersville Methodist Church will be held at South River Winery, the new home of the church building. Bring your own picnic and tableware. Beverages and Desserts will be provided. Lunch will begin at 12:00 pm. Please RSVP by August 3 to Doris Gharky by phone or email. Silent Auction items will be presented to the attendees at our picnic for bids. This Silent Auction will continue through September 7, 2025, at which time the gift winners will be announced. At 2:00 pm, Gene Sigel, owner and winemaker of South River Winery will talk to us about moving the building from Shalersville to it’s current site and other history of the building since he purchased it.
