Please note that the Sanctuary has a seating capacity of 200 people, and the fellowship hall can accommodate groups of 150 people.

We are not a wedding venue for non-member weddings. If you are a Portage Faith Church member, please contact our Portage Faith Church Office to begin the process of scheduling and planning your wedding.

All are invited to our Sunday Worship Service and classes! Here are the times and locations of each:
- 8:30 am Adult Sunday School in the Blue Room on the 1st and 3rd Sundays.
- 9:30 am Worship in the Sanctuary each Sunday morning, including the celebration of Holy Communion the first Sunday of each month.
- 9:30 am Children’s Church in Classroom #2 (Sanctuary level).
- 9:30 am Nursery Care in the Nursery Room.

Contact Pastor Bill Graham to set up an appointment. If you have been baptized in another Christian denomination, it is not necessary to be baptized again. We accept and believe in one baptism by water and the Spirit.
A custom adult membership study may be arranged with the pastor for adults who have never been members of a church or who are transferring from another denomination. After a New Member Form is completed, we will select a time during worship to join and be welcomed by the community.
Contact Pastor Bill Graham to make an appointment regarding your interest in baptism. He will gladly meet with you and take you through the steps of this Holy Sacrament.
No. In the United Methodist Church, we believe in an open table for communion where all are welcome. We believe that the sacrament of Holy Communion is an act of God’s grace extended to everyone.
You may meet with Pastor Bill in several ways. He has Walk-in Office Hours on Tuesdays & Thursdays from 9:00 – 11:00 am. He also is available for casual conversation at R44 Restoration Coffee Shop in Mantua on Wednesday afternoons from 3:00 – 4:00 pm. Or you can make an appointment with Pastor Bill by contacting him via email.
Yes. We provide childcare on Sunday mornings from 9:30-10:30 am (or when our Worship Service ends) for children ages 2 – 4 years. Guests will be directed by an Usher to the appropriate room.
Currently, nursery care is not available during Adult Sunday School.
Yes, if you need childcare for a church-sponsored event at the church, contact the Church Office.
Yes, the Portage Faith Church Safe Sanctuary policy assists us in creating and providing a safe environment for our children, youth, and vulnerable adults. We do annual Safe Sanctuary training with everyone who works with the children and youth.
Yes! We want children to know from the earliest age possible that they are beloved children of God and an important part of the worshiping community.
We have classes for children, teens, and adults. Please contact our Church Office for specific information. Our children’s Sunday School classes are termed “Children’s Church”.

Portage Faith Church is committed to making our facility a comfortable, accessible place for everyone. We currently offer:
- Entrances to the sanctuary level and lower level are at pavement level. Persons with ambulatory challenges or in a wheelchair may be dropped off at the door.
- A chair lift connects the sanctuary level with the lower level. Vehicle transport between levels is a second option.
- Wheelchair accessible restrooms.
- Large-print worship bulletins.
- Handicap accessible parking spaces.
The main entrance to the Sanctuary is located on the upper level, accessible from the upper driveway on the north side of the building.
On Sundays, all doors are open from 8:00 – 10:45 am.
At 10:45 am all entrances are locked after everyone has left worship or departed from any special events.
During the week, enter our building through the upper level sanctuary entrance. To reach this entrance, use the upper level drive and park in the upper-level parking lot.
